# Enable Gzip Compression not saving

 * In /wp-admin/options.php I edited gzipcompression from “0” to “1”. After pressing
   save and refreshing the page, the value is back at “0”.
 * What’s wrong?

 * Not sure how you even found that page but you’d probably want to go with a caching
   plugin to handle gzip compression if you’re looking to have that for your site.

 * Thanks for the response. I actually installed W3 Total Cache, which had a Gzip
   compression feature.
