In my Mailchimp for WP settings I have Enable Google reCaptcha on NO, but still, when somebody subscribe it ALWAYS ask to prove humanity and people have to answer reCaptcha questions. How can I disable it forever?
    Thank you

    Hi,

I assume this is asked once someone clicks the opt-in link, not for submitting the form?

Once the form is submitted it’s out of our hands, from there MailChimp.com handles everything including the double opt-in email.

I believe they show that captcha based on the country of the subscriber but I’m not sure what their algorithm is for this.

I guess the only way to circumvent this is turning off double opt in for the form, under MailChimp for WP > Form > Settings.

Please note we are not affiliated with MailChimp.com. We are a different company “ibericode” that develops plugins such as “MailChimp for WordPress”. I’m sorry to tell you I am not able to help you with this question as it is not related to our plugin. My advice to you is to contact MailChimp.com as they would be the best people to answer any query related to your MailChimp.com account.

You can contact MailChimp.com trough https://mailchimp.com/contact/support/

I hope that helps. If you have any queries specific to our plugin please let us know!

    Hi Lap,
thank you for your answer. Actually this all happening in your plugin “MailChimp for WordPress” so I was hoping you will know the answer. As I said, in your settings there is field Enable Google reCaptcha and I have it on NO, but still when people try to submit the form, this problem ocour, they have to fill in reCaptcha before sending submission. I dont think that have to do with my Mailchimp account, but if you do not know the answer maybe I will contact them. Please let me know.
    best, Sasa

    Hi,

You mean this error shows up directly when you submit the form, not after someone clicks the double opt-in link?

I see a MailChimp form on https://vremeplov.in.rs/kontakt/ but that’s not a form created in our plugin. Where can I find the form on your site that is made with Mailchimp for WordPress so I can test this?

    Thanks for letting us know.

Yes, I placed other link on the site because this one does not ask for recaptcha, that is mailchimp widget, but I am not very satisfied with it.

I can send you the link of a form created in your plugin. Is there a way I can send you screenshot?

Here is the shortcode of your plugin: [mc4wp_form id=”241″]
And I made test page for you with the integrated plugin so you can test it there: https://vremeplov.in.rs/en/test-2/

Thank you very much for trying to solve my problem. I would rather use your plugin then mailchimp widget because find your plugin works better.
    Best,

I also forget to mention that the problem occur when you, as subscriber, recive confirmation in your mail Please Confirm Subscription and then when you clock on Yes, subscribe me to this list recaptcha get active and you have to fill it in in order to confirm it. I would love to skip this step, maybe that is not up to your plugin, I don’t know.

I am curious what your finding will be after you test the page.

    Thanx again

    Hi,

So the captcha only shows once someone clicks the confirmation link in the double opt-in email, correct?

Once the form is submitted it’s out of our hands, from there MailChimp.com handles everything including the double opt-in email.

I believe they show that captcha based on the country of the subscriber but I’m not sure what their algorithm is for this.

    Thanx Lap,

I did turn off double opt in, and form does not receive any conformation any more, and it is also possible to send wrong email address, so I do not know what is worse.
However, thank you for your time,
    have a good day.

    best regards,
    Sasa
