“Enable for shipping methods” for Direct transfer (BACS)

    Let’s say I have four types of transport within a given country in the Transport section:
    1) Casch on delivery (flat rate)
    2) Post (flat rate)
    3) In-store pickup (personal pickup)
    4) Free shipping (free postage)

    In the Payments section
    I have two types of payment:
    A) Cash on delivery
    B) Bank transfer

    Cash on delivery payment setting allows
    “Enable for shipping methods”. So I have set only option (1) Cash on delivery for option (A) Cash on delivery.

    On the checkout page:
    – When selecting the shipping method (2) Post the only payment option offered is (B) Bank Transfer. That’s fine.
    – When selecting the shipping method (1) Cash on delivery, the payment option (A) Cash on delivery appears -good, but the option (B) Bank transfer does not disappear and remains preselected. This is wrong.
    How can I resolve this?

    Direct bank transfer (BACS) settings does NOT allow settings
    Enable for shipping methods. Why is that?
