Support » Fixing WordPress » Enable Custom Fields for Posts

  • I just created a new site using the yellow magazine theme – http://www.simplewpthemes.com/2011/01/yellow-magazine/

I am trying to utilize the scroll image function that is built into this particular wordpress theme. I have already selected my settings for the scroll image, through the theme’s SWT Theme Options (Found by going to appearances and clicking themes. Link located right of the theme image). Once i’m in SWT Theme Options, I edit “slider settings”.

However, when I go to make a post, it will not display the custom fields options below the text box, where you can select custom field name, value, and also add new custom field. I need these custom fields to appear so that I can utilize the scroll image.

Can anyone shed any positive light on this problem? Am I forgetting to do something really basic with the setup? I downloaded some custom fields plugins, but they didn’t solve my problem, which leads me to believe it’s something basic with the categories, linking, etc.
