thanks for using MH Magazine lite.
Since WordPress 4.3 comments on pages are turned off by default. That means if you want to have comments on pages, you would need to enable this on a per page basis or use a plugin for this purpose.

I have downloaded the plugin and activated it but comment section still won’t appear on my pages…
Do I have to change something in the settings?
Plugin is activated, I enabled comments on pages in quick edit, discussion and screen but nothing….

Angelique, you also could check if you have enabled comments on pages in your WordPress dashboard under “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options”.
By the way, we’ve just noticed what you’ve posted here. Please be aware that this isn’t a theme issue. This theme has been downloaded over 379,000 times and other users don’t have an issue with their comments.
We can only recommend that you do further troubleshooting on your site and check your settings and also check that you aren’t running any plugins that are disabling comments on pages.
And in general it would be highly appreciated if you correct the post we’ve mentioned above because what you write there just isn’t correct. It’s quite unfair that you blame the theme when we actually invest our time for free and try to help you with a strange issue that nobody else is facing – thanks.
Actually there was a bug in my theme due t a plugin. Everything went blank and it had to be reinstalled.
Issue has been corrected and now I am able to enable comments on pages.

But again, it would be highly appreciated if you could correct what you’ve written about our theme at Wealthy Affiliate because that was quite heavy stuff, especially now that you see that this issue wasn’t caused by the theme – thanks…
