Enable Auto Login After Registration seems really messed up
-
When a user registers for a free subscription, with the ‘Enable Auto Login After Registration’ box checked on the Settings -> Advanced Settings page and a URL in ‘After Registration Redirect URL’ they are redirected to the Membership Login page with the message:
You need to activate your account. If you didn’t receive an email then click here to resend the activation email
.
The user does get an email stating they have been registered.
So:
1) Why are they going to the Membership Login page at all? Shouldn’t they just go into the site to the page I have listed in ‘After Registration Redirect URL’.
2) Why is that message showing up if email registration is disabled?I do have the After Login Redirection addon, would love to delete it. Does not seem to do anything more than redirect to the last page. I would not want them to go there anyway.
I disabled all plugins except Simple WordPress Membership and it still happens.
My goal is to have them click a free trial button, register, and go directly to a predefined page. Then, next time they want in they use their credentials.
Any help would be great.
