# “empty the page cache” button really slow…

 * Hello, when I add a plugin (example) as always it suggests to empty the page 
   cache.
    Ok, but If i click that button it waits too long for an answer by server…
 * I went to the folder `../wp-content/cache/page_enhanced` and I noticed that it
   takes a long time to delete all the stuff..
 * Honestly, I don’t remember that routine so slow in the past.
    Is it normal? Thanks

 * Shouldnt be slow but it sounds like it is clearing your other cache folders, 
   not just what’s inside page_enhanced e.g. database cache? object cache? Varnish?

 * This depends on how frequently the cache is emptied. If not configured to empty
   cache regularly, after some time it can take a while depending on the amount 
   of cache.
