Empty table wc_product_attributes_lookup no matter what.

    Hi everyone,

    I want to filter products by attributes. It was working back in the days (2 years ago or more) but I didn’t need it since then. It just not working and not showing anything.

    I can’t fill that table no matter what. I have used almost every tool at WC > Status > Tools several times.

    I would like to avoid invasive solutions.

    Provide me some info where to look for and observe abnormalities, please.

    Hey there, @habratto! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

    I see you removed the database info from the SSR, so I wasn’t able to check if the database is updated.
    Please check it the database version matches your WooCommerce version. If it doesn’t, please update it on WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database. 🙂

    To confirm you already tried Regenerate the product attributes lookup table and Verify Database on WooCommerce > Status > Tools, correct?

    Plugin/Theme/Custom Code conflict might also affect this.

    Can you please run a conflict test to see if something external is interfering with this?

    To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

    If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

    — Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

    — It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    I did in order:
    0. Clear and preload cache
    1. Clear transients
    2. Regenerate product lookup tables
    3. Update database
    4. Verify database
    5. Regenerate product attributes lookup table.
    2 or 3 times.

    This is how my woocommerce_attribute_taxonomies looks like. I don’t know if it’s important or not.

    Sadly logs are empty even though Level threshold is set to None. None means all logs will be stored.

    I visited your website to check the “filter products by attributes” feature.
    However, I could not find any block/widget to filter products.

    Could you share a link where you have added this feature?

    We understand your concern about deactivating plugins during a busy period. To minimize disruption, we recommend doing this on a staging site. You can find the steps to creating a staging site here.

    It’s also a good idea to backup your site before making any changes. This way, you can restore it if anything unexpected happens.

    Hi,

    I’m trying to migrate whole website to xampp. Right now I have a tough time finding plugin that actually works.
    I have tried already: Duplicator, Migrate Guru, Backup Migration, WP STAGING, UpdraftPlus and every single one of them have a problem on my website (in the free variant).

    My hosting provider is ass and I have constant problems with them but I have bigger problems than migration right now. I’m sure though they are a significant part of my issues with wordpress.

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble migrating your website to XAMPP. It sounds like you’ve tried a number of plugins without success.

    In this case, I would recommend trying the All-in-One WP Migration plugin. It’s free, user-friendly, and has been highly rated by many of our customers.

    If you continue to experience issues, it might be worth considering a manual migration. This involves exporting your site’s database, copying your WordPress files, setting up a new database on your local server, configuring your local server, and finally importing your site’s database.

    Hi,

    All-in-One WP Migration

    that ended up with errors as well. BUT! WPvivid Backup worked, finally. Manual backup is not possible with my service provider. I can’t zip and download files with FTP because it crashes the whole FTP explorer and I hate their customer service so I had to do this other way around.

    Time to do some experiments now.

    And did it. I have deactivate all plugins and switched template to Twenty Nineteen.

    ok I’ve found something.

    Newly created attributes are working on staged website after the cleaning. It need more digging. I’ll do an update.

    Well, yes.

    After manually overwriting the theme files and a few plugins that seemed problematic, the issue was resolved (I sometimes modified them. I know hardcoding is bad). Unfortunately, I have no idea what was causing these issues.
