 * I am either looking for a theme with an empty sidebar – no categories, blogroll
   etc. or I need to know how to eliminate these items in my sidebar.

 * Go into your sidebar php, either subtract it from your theme folder in your ftp
   or edit through the wordpress dashboard. I usually just extract any code relating
   to the elements listed in current sidebar theme.
 * Not sure it’s the best way, but seems to do the job!

 * Thanks jonny. I’m new at this but I’ll give it a try. Also, do you know if there
   is any way to eliminate the Filed Under/By/Date wording that appears after every
   post. I’m the only one posting and I don’t want to see any of that stuff.
