 * Hi [@simplycharly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/simplycharly/),
 * WPP’s JavaScript file is missing from your website which is the reason why the
popular posts list is broken on your sidebar.
 * Maybe this FAQ can help: [Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with plugins that minify/bundle JavaScript code?](https://github.com/cabrerahector/wordpress-popular-posts/wiki/5.-FAQ#is-wordpress-popular-posts-compatible-with-plugins-that-minifybundle-javascript-code)
 * Also, since you’re using WP Rocket on your website: [Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with caching plugins?](https://github.com/cabrerahector/wordpress-popular-posts/wiki/5.-FAQ#is-wordpress-popular-posts-compatible-with-caching-plugins)

 * Thank you. Here are my settings [https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuLROrb](https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuLROrb).
   Where am I going wrong?

 * Well, apparently you can use wildcards there so you could replace these three
   lines with:
 * `/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/assets/js/*.js`
 * Other than that it seems everything’s fine.
 * Question: did you remember to clear your site’s cache after making these changes,
   [@simplycharly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/simplycharly/)?

 * Still no luck. Cache has been purged, but still nothing. See [https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuLREOX](https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuLREOX)

 * WPP’s JS file is still missing from your website. That’s odd. Try disabling WP
Rocket, visit one of your posts using a different browser (or via Incognito Mode)
and check whether WPP was able to track your visit.

 * WP Rocket has been disabled. Still nothing. Something is off here.

 * Yep, definitely. What other plugins do you have installed on your website? Please
take a screenshot of your Debug screen (WP Dashboard > Settings > WordPress Popular
Posts, click on the Debug link at the top center of the screen), upload it somewhere
and share the link here so I can have a look.

 * I tried testing other Popular Posts plugins like Top 10 and they all work except
for yours. So I know that there must be a conflict somewhere.

 * Yeah, WordPress Popular Posts is a little bit different but it works out of the
box in the vast majority of cases. Edge cases like yours happen of course but
usually things can be worked out.
 * Alright, I have a few things I want you to try but I think it’s best if you did
them on a test site. Do you by any chance have a [staging website](https://www.sitepoint.com/beginners-guide-website-staging/)
set up? If not then now may be a good time to set one up so we can try changes
safely and without affecting your live website (often hosting providers provide
tools / assistance with this.) I realize this is a bit of extra work but I really
don’t want us to mess around with your site.

 * I don’t have a staging site. What exactly do you want me to test?

 * Your plugin worked for a long time and then suddenly stopped working.

 * I want your help to rule out conflicts with other plugins (and even your current
theme). To do so you’ll need to:
    1. Disable all of your plugins (except for WordPress Popular Posts) and check whether
the issue persists. If the problem is gone then we know for sure that at least
one of your other plugins is what’s causing it, enabling them one by one will
tell you which one(s) is(are) to blame and we can decide on the best course
       of action afterwards.
    2. If disabling all of your plugins doesn’t get rid of the issue, switching to
a different theme (eg. Twenty Twenty) is the next step to check whether it’s
your current theme (Nyooz Child) what’s causing it. If the problem goes away
after switching to a different theme then you’ll know for sure that something
in your current theme is what’s causing the problem (note I think this is highly
unlikely but it’s worth testing anyways.)
    3. If the problem persists even after disabling all of your plugins and switching
to another theme then either your copy of the WPP plugin is corrupted (as in
its JS file is missing from your setup or damaged, which would be odd but not
impossible); or there’s another caching system on your site (your hosting provider’s?
Cloudflare? etc) that needs to be cleared too for all of these changes to actually
take effect; or something else entirely that we haven’t thought of yet.
 * Trying any of these suggested changes on your live website will have side effects
that visitors will see right away so doing this on a test environment is the
recommended way to go if you don’t want visitors to think your website is currently
   broken / misbehaving.
 * If setting up a staging website is not an option for you (don’t have the time/
knowledge / patience to do it) then it might be a good idea to get the people
who developed your site involved in this. Ask them to help debug your website
on their development environment so they can help us figure out what’s going
   on.

 * You seem to still have a caching plugin enabled. You’ll want to disable that
   as well:
