    The page sitemap for my site is empty. I have gone through the steps outlined on and have been unable to determine what is wrong.

    In Google Search console the error message for is (Nested indexing This Sitemap Index is referenced by another Sitemap Index.) Search Console shows 126 pages index but not in sitemap.

    I had the Media – attachment set to No and it was generating the and would show all the URL. I set this to Yes and that sitemap disappeared and no change for the page-sitemap.xml. I also, re-saved the permalinks to see if it help build the page sitemap but still no luck. The Health Check with all plugins off and only Yoast active still no luck.

    I turn all items except pages off from showing in the sitemap. What next?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    It seems that you have added some rules which redirects page-sitemap. I just checked:

    $ curl -I
    HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
    Server: nginx/1.14.1
    X-Redirect-Agent: redirection
    $ curl -I
    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Server: nginx/1.14.1

    If I get page sitemap via query string then it works. Please check redirects on you server. It seems that’s issue with redirection plugin. Please deactivate it and check again.

    To add to what @stodorovic already mentioned…

    The output of curl shows “x-redirect-agent: redirection” header that comes from redirection plugin by John Godley. Ref: . I hope that helps.

    Thank you – fixed.
