    Hi there,
since the update I get a warning in my analytics tool:

    1. that all of my meta descriptions for my tags are empty although they are filled out.

    2. On other sites, the tags are now added to the end of the url instead of /tag/keyword/ and are marked as empty meta descriptions as well.

How do I get rid of these wrong urls and have the descriptions filled out again?

    Thanks, Max

    Hey @maxidavis.

Can you post a few URLs here along with screenshots of the SEO data you’ve set for them so we can investigate this?

Also, I’m not entirely sure what you mean in your second question. AIOSEO doesn’t change the permalink in any way. Feel free to share some more details about that as well.

    Hey Max,

Can you post a screenshot of what you have set under Search Appearance > Taxonomies > Tags (Schlagwörter)?

Can you go to Search Appearance > Advanced and check if there’s a setting called “Autogenerated Descriptions”? If there is, make sure it’s enabled.

Okay, if I enable this, the “error” disappears. But where does it get the description from? I want it to grab the description that I entered manually. Like before.

@maxidavis It gets the description from the Description field in each Tag.

@wpsmort Okay, so when I enable autogenerated Descriptions it gets the description from the description field for each tag. And what happens, when I disable autogenerated (manual) Descriptions? For me, it should be the other way around. Thats confusing.
