Empty Message body in emails Contact 7

    My message body is coming in empty no matter what I put in the text fields. But when I remove tags from the message body like [form_data] I get that there is a possible empty field.

    Is there a reason why my messages are coming in empty? I cannot find any information on the internet and the help on how to properly configure contact 7 forms is why I am in this predicament 🙂

    Also, it makes you put in some random email on my end but when I put in an email on the testing form, it doesn’t actually ever show me the email of the “person”. How do I get it to show me their email?

    there can be multiple reasons for this. Are you using any special filters in your functions.php file to change the mail message?

    it doesn’t actually ever show me the email of the “person”. How do I get it to show me their email?

    you’ll need to include the email field tag (if you have one) into the mail (usually Reply-to). However, for more detials you should enquire on the CF7 plugin support forum or website.

    I actually decided to just delete it because it was giving me so many issues. I am using something else that is working perfectly! Thank you for your response.
