Support » Plugin: OSM - OpenStreetMap » Empty map view in old posts

  • Hi!

I have a problem (also with the latest plugin version):

If I open a totally new post in the WordPress Editor, the map is loaded and shown for shortcut generation.
But if I would like to add a map zu an existing post on my webpage, the Editor doesn’t show any map – only a white/blank box in the same size (map tiles don’t load).

Here is already a topic with the same problem but resolved. But for me, also with the latest version the problem remains.

    Thanks!

    Hello imrazor,

    is it like this?
    * map is shown when you create a new post/page
    * map is shown not shown when you open an existing post

    Q:
Which editor do you use now [Classic or Gutenberg]?
Which editor where the existing posts generated with?
Do you have any caching plugins?
If you create a test post and publish it and reopen it – is the map shown?

    Br,
    MiKa

    Hi MiKa!

    Right, it is like this.

    – I use Gutenberg
    – The existing posts with problems where created with Gutenberg
    – No cache plugins
    – When I create a test post, publish and reopen it, everything is fine – the map is shown.

For this test, if have played around a little:
Apparently the problem only occurs with post, which already have some OSM shortcodes in the text. Old posts without shortcodes will show the map.

    Regards,
    Andreas
