empty img src breaks layout in IE and Safari

  • Hi there,

    WP Bannerize appears to write out an empty image tag when it displays the banner image. This is fine in Chrome and FF but in Internet Explorer and Safari the empty image tag is displayed as an error which breaks the layout of my page.

    What purpose does the empty tag serve? Is there any way of removing it or fixing this issue? It must cause problems for most users of the plugin?

    The front-end output from my site is:

    <div class="header-banner">
    <a title="" rel="nofollow" href="">
    <img alt="" src="">
    </a>
    <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.continental-truck.com/" onclick="WPBannerizeJavascript.incrementClickCount(1)">
    <img width="728" height="90" alt="" src="http://www.transport-news.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/continental-banner1.png">
    </a>
    </div>

    Thanks in advance.

    Robin
