 * Hei
   I just tried your plugin and it works great for the most parts.For some reason,
   the Dashboard menu is just an empty screen.Best, Daniel

 * Hi [@dansart](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dansart/),
 * Indeed! I focused on the main features but not “that” dashboard. I will fix it
   now! Do you mind making a little list of the issues or… imperfections? 😊

 * Hi [@tigroumeow](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tigroumeow/)
   Thanks for
   the fast reply.Just a few little things. Not sure if they need fixing…– No email
   logging when no provider is selected. It seems to be intentional, but I cannot
   see why…– Password field shows a button to show the password, but it does not–
   No error message in the settings menu when wrong SMTP credentials

 * Let me reply to all this! 😊
 * 1. Logging with no provider selected. You are right, and I was wrong to make
   it work that way. **From the next version, Meow Mailer stays out of the delivery
   path when no provider is selected, exactly as before, but it now records what
   WordPress sends on its own.** Those entries show up in the log marked “WordPress”.
   So you get the log from the moment you activate it, without changing how anything
   is sent.
 * 2. The password reveal button. Good catch! The button works, there is simply
   nothing behind it: a saved secret is never sent back to your browser, so what
   sits in that field is a row of bullet characters, and revealing them showed you
   the same bullets. It looked broken because it effectively was. Fixed in next
   version too.
 * 3. Wrong SMTP credentials. There is an error message, but only when you send
   a test email. Put an address in the test field under the provider settings and
   press Send Test, and the mail server’s actual response comes back as a red message.
   Saving on its own does not check the credentials, which I suspect is what you
   ran into. I did not want to make saving talk to your mail server every time,
   since it would fail confusingly while you are half way through typing. The test
   is the reliable check, because it exercises the whole path rather than just the
   login.
 * Thanks again for the report, I am releasing the new version right now! 😋
