# Empty banner text

 * I’ve been using the featured posts slideshow banner, but I don’t want any banner
   text to be displayed. I tried to add the “banner_text” custom field with just
   an   – but it still seems to be display an “empty” space on top of the slider
   images.
 * Is there a way I can tell the slider to not output any banner text?

 * You can apply this [custom CSS](http://support.webmandesign.eu/forums/topic/css/):
 *     ```
       .site-banner-header { display: none; }
       ```
   
 * Please also note that if you [purchase the Auberge Plus](http://www.webmandesign.eu/auberge-wordpress-theme/#donate)
   you will be able to use a custom slider plugin in the banner area instead.
 * And yes, for the custom banner text design you need to customize it via custom
   CSS – or use an Auberge Plus’ custom banner feature to put your custom slider
   plugin (you can use any plugin such as Master Slider or others).
