Congratulations for taking down the copy plugin πŸ™‚

Is it possible to integrate emoticons in wpdiscuz in next updates same as the first link I provided?

    Thank you Amir,
I’m really sorry but it’s not currently possible, we got lot to do before this. This is not planned in near feature. We’re getting dozens emails every day, each one with dozens of new feature requests. Our to-do list has currently more than 480 new items. It’s time to make wpDiscuz more secure and fast. We’re working on security, cache, performance and SEO now. We’ll let you know once we start emoticons.

No problem, I just mention items that I think can improve wpdiscuz πŸ™‚ Just consider using trello.com , the users can know what features are planned or in progress and avoid requesting repetitive features. for example like this:

    Thanks, Good Luck πŸ˜‰

Thank you, we’ll take a look on this.

As opposed to the other members 480 feature requests?
See, this is where opinions widely differ, e.g. I disabled emoticons in wordpress settings alltogether because I think they ruin my carefully crafted site design – but that is of course just my taste.

That’s why I appreciate the authors focus on security & performance first because these are features everyone benefits from – regardless of taste – including our site visitors.

Trello seems like a very good idea (+1) for people who follow this plugins development – but I doubt that this would stop repetitive requests from infrequent visitors (aka the majority)

I did not say this is important feature, I said I mention items that I think can improve wpdiscuz. I am surfing the internet a lot, so whenever I see good stuff I inform them. It’s not important, then they add it at bottom of the list. It is better that not suggesting.

And about trello, the main purpose is transparency of the whole process of making the plugin, Many companies use this or similar method to inform users the roadmap.

    ok, I totally agree

I think I was unaware of procrastinating this morning which somehow led me to write a non-contributing comment on this support forum – sorry about that
