emojionearea editor not working

    I am using doctreat theme, and the theme has inbuilt features of real-time chat using soket.io. And they have used the emojionearea js to convert text area with the emojis. The user cant type in the chatbox. The theme author says it is due to the All in One Wp Security plugin. Below is their reply for your reference:

We have checked and this issue comes when this plugin gets activated All In One WP Security

Maybe there are some settings that basically create an issue with chat click action

    Hi,

    Yes, it is active at the moment, I am 100% sure it is not working also at your end also. I guess you interacted with the Hubspot which is at the bottom of the left-hand side

    The issue is with the Real-time chat which is on the right corner with the image in the circle. Kindly see this video to understand :

    Hi,

    Apologies, you are correct I was looking at the other chat application.
    When I try and interact, I get a message that I think roughly translate to telling me that I must be logged in to interact with it. In WP security, can you goto Miscellaneous and uncheck the option to “Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests”

    How do you interact, by typing in the box?
    Are you able to type in the box without clicking o?

    This is the issue, the user cant type in the box. Whether the user is logged in or not is the other thing. Hope you understand my concern.

    What I noticed is that this issue is coming when disabling the right click from the Miscellaneous settings.

    Hi Javed,
    “This issue is coming when we disable the right click under wp security > Miscellaneous settings” – Does this mean that the issue is still present regardless of wether “Disallow Unauthorized REST Requests” is checked?
    Could you turn off all All In One features and reactivate them one by one to isolate which feature is causing the conflict?

    Hi,
    The issue comes when we check “To use copy protection” Checkbox
    It is unchecked at the moment, and I can type now without any issue.

    Hi,
    It is not a plugin, it is the paid theme that has an inbuilt feature of chat, which is developed using node and express js with socket.io

    Unfortunately, it looks as if you will need to keep the Copy protection unchecked if you are using the chat function.
