Hello, I am in a real pickle and cannot get into my blog.

I was trying to install some code, which I am not good at, and once I finished I get he following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’ in /home/sports/public_html/wp-content/themes/admired/functions.php on line 411

I uses the Admired Theme and myt blog is hosted on HostGator if that help?

    Please help. Thanks!

Switch to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming:

    wp-content/themes/admired

    to:

    wp-content/themes/admired-old

using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. That should get back into your site again and allow you to try downloading a fresh copy of the chosen theme.

OK thanks I will give that a try!

line 411 in functions.php of Admired Theme is the last line and looks like
    ?>

Check via FTP if there > sign in the line. May be you lost it during editing.
You also can upload default functions.php instead of edited into the theme folder. May be this is better if you are not familiar with PHP.

Esmi, you are a genius! A million thank you’s!!!
