Embeding Zoom recorded videos using Zoom Cloud Links

    Dear WordPress,

    Hi, I’m developer of a conference website. We would like to upload recorded Zoom videos onto our website. What I have to do now, is to manually upload the .mp4 video files onto the website, and add it as multimedia.

    However, Zoom offers the Clouding saving where people can easily access the recordings just by clicking the link. The link in our case starts with https://ethz.zoom.us/rec/share/….

    A nice and easy way to post the recorded zoom videos is to simply embed the video by putting the link into the page, just as Youtube or Tiktok. However, I find out that this is not supported by WordPress.

    There are some plugins that require Zoom Developer API and offer plenty of other features. However, the developer permission is not possible with our zoom account.

    Is there any good way to simply embed the recorded Zoom Video on Cloud by pasting the links?

    A nice and easy way to post the recorded zoom videos is to simply embed the video by putting the link into the page, just as Youtube or Tiktok. However, I find out that this is not supported by WordPress.

    I believe this is a limitation on Zoom’s side, as even iframing the recording link doesn’t work — it only shows a blank box.

    From the official Zoom forum discussion linked below, they’re aware of the problem, they’re working on a solution, and their current recommendation is to upload the video to YouTube.
