    Hey there!

    I was attempting to embed a couple YouTube videos using the YouTube IFrame Player API. I was adding the HTML below inside the “Our Focus” section text widgets.

    <iframe id="ytplayer" type="text/html" width="480" height="270"
    src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxxxxxxxxx?controls=0&modestbranding=1&rel=0&showinfo=0&color=white&iv_load_policy=3"
    frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

    When I saved & published my changes, the site would not load. It would hang at the spinning circle that appears before the site content loads (usually this lasts less than a fraction of a second).

    I had to disable this section using the Customize widget. I then had to find the rows in my wp_options database table and remove the HTML code I added. Once I completed this, I was able to re-enable the section in the Customize widget. However, the Our Focus Widgets that I originally had have since been deleted. I’ve searched the database for some of the content in them and cannot find them anywhere.

    This seems like it could be a pretty serious bug, but I am not sure what caused this to happen. Thoughts and questions are welcome! Thanks!

    Hello, if you want to add a youtube video to the website you could either upgrade to the Pro version of the theme which would let you add unlimited custom front page shortcodes sections which you could use to add a shortcode from a youtube plugin to add your video to the site.

    The code you tried to add will not work in that area. You could try editing the theme’s code and adding the section manually be sure to create a child theme first : http://docs.themeisle.com/article/14-how-to-create-a-child-theme
