# Embedding Vimeo issues

 * I am having trouble embedding vimeo videos into my blog. I can get the “old embed
   code” to work but I can’t get the new embed code to work (the new code allows
   for moblie video embedding). Does anyone have any experience with this?

 * Not sure if it uses the old or new embed code, but just by including a link to
   the Vimeo video, WordPress will automagically add the embed code for you.

 * Thanks guys for the help. I was actually able to get it to work by playing around
   with it. Just in case someone else is having the same trouble, I was using the
   HTML box to input the NEW embed code from vimeo and when I went to the VISUAL
   box, there was no video there but I just ignored that and pressed publish and
   it still embedded the video and it plays on my iphone and ipad and other people
   have played the videos on their smartphones… VERY nice!

 * I tried just adding the link in both html view and visual view and neither is
   working for me, it just posts the link as text. I made sure its not linked to
   anything…
 * Any ideas?
