 * Is it possible to embed a sound file that loops when my blog opens and if so 
   how do I do this?

 * You can find the appropriate script on the web using search. Copy that code into
   your header.php file at the appropriate place and you will have music. Make sure(
   it will be in the script) to provide a viewer an obvious way to turn it off.

 * Embedding sound files on a site is a guaranteed way to lose visitors. Bad idea…
   unless the site is geared towards 13 year olds.
 * The piece of code kmessinger is referring to is “autostart=true”. If you decide
   to go ahead with this, make sure it’s set to “autostart=FALSE”, so people have
   to click the player to listen to what _you_ want them to listen to, instead of
   music of their choice.
 * I admit to being very opinionated on this subject – but 15 years of designing
   websites has taught me a few things about what people like, or DON”T like. Embedded
   sound files happens to be one of those DON”T LIKE’s.
 * Except, of course, if they are 13 years old.

   very much respected, especially with your design experience.
 * However, I am still confused as to how I search for and find the script, can 
   you be more specific please?
