# Embedding and copyright

 * I am experimenting with a WordPress blog. I see that links I put in to to Youtube
   appear automatically as embedded videos on the 2012 template. This is convenient
   but I wonder if this legitimate from a bandwidth use and/or copyright perspective.
   I’ve looked through the WP documentation but haven’t found anything.

 * Perfectly legitimate. It’s no different than going to YouTube, copying the available
   embed code from a video, then pasting that code on your own site. Just easier.
   It has no effect on copyright. Those rules and issues must still be adhered to
   accordingly.
