# Embedding a .pdf document

 * I am converting an HTML web site to WordPress. On one page we have an archive
   of our club newsletter with the latest issue embedded in the page and links to
   the last year’s issues. I have tried using the embed code`[embed] http://www.
   rotaryclubsbnorth.org/bulletins/2015/150610 [/embed]` and it only places a link
   on the page, not the document as it does on the web page. Is there some reason
   this can’t work?

    WordPress embed doesn’t support embedding of pdf files.
 * You can use either of this two plugins to do that

 * Thank you. I looked at the two plug-ins and selected the pdf-embedder. It works
   perfectly. My problem is solved.
