I have noticed this issue is facing by many users. I have reported the issue to the concerned team.
For now, I request you to please use Custom HTML block to embed videos, use the below code to paste in your Custom HTML block:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WpYqrZu2q-Y" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You can always adjust width and height in the above code according to your requirements. š

To embed a playlist, first select the playlist you want to embed.
Copy the playlist ID from the URL.
Suppose if this is the URL:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmrOkkqMNlc&list=PLQFhxUeNFfdJsoUnGQ8ucK_TIJsosmSXm
then PLQFhxUeNFfdJsoUnGQ8ucK_TIJsosmSXm will be the playlist ID.
After obtaining the playlist ID, replace PLAYLIST__ID__WILL__GO__HERE with your playlist ID in below code:

Hi Animesh I have had the same problem when trying to add soundcloud/ youtube music to my site. When I am writting the post and add the link it shows up fine, but when I either preview or publish the post I can only see a clickable link (ulr) instead. I tried adding the code you suggested but that is adding two youtube video clips, the one i need and another one. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Greg.

Have you used code in Custom HTML?
Also, if possible, please share the link of the YouTube video that you want to embed. š

I am not an expert in WordPress so not sure about how you use Custom HTML, I just added the actual link provided by youtube….
I have 900 plus embedded videos, i dont want to have to re-do all the pages, i want them to go back to how they worked last week, as obviously something has changed.
I have another WordPress site which i built using Jet Engine And Elementor and the embedded videos work fine in that

this situation is now ridiculous, i have 900 plus you tube videos on my site and they are not displaying, my site is now getting 10,000 less viewers a month. It needs resolving with immediate effect.
it was fine then overnight the videos stopped displaying and instead now it just showed the URL without displaying the video, you said that you would raise a “card” to escalate the issue well I am sorry a month is unsatisfactory.
videos work fine on my other site http://www.cyberspacecars.co.uk which is wordpress, elementor and jetpack, but on my http://www.bccars.co.uk site which is wordpress, uxbuilder they dont here is an example
