Embed Zoom Meeting
-
Hi,
I was wondering, so with this plugin can you embed a zoom meeting into a WordPress page or post?
We have a nightly meeting we would like to display on our website but we wanted to see if we could embed it so people do not have to dial in.
Thank you,
Allie

You can use shortcode for this. Shortcode is provided when you create a new meeting from 3.2.0 update.
With 3.2.0 update you can join via browser as well. Just embed the join link you get from there to your page where you need it to embed if you need browser join.
Hi
We are using your PLUGIN via our WORDPRESS site.Member are able to join the scheduled meetings using the option button: JOIN BY ZOOM APP, however the when members try to join the meeting by using the option button: JOIN BY WEB BROWSER – this is not working?
Can you please assist?
Sorry for this
This is not a problem from the plugin. Zoom web client has been down for 2 days now. I have been monitoring the situation but its out of my hands and cannot do anything.
Suggest you to disable join via browser via checkbox individually at the moment. I’ll update here on the fix. !!!!! Thanks for the patience !!

Deepen — kudos to you for looking into this and keeping track of things. Looking at that web SDK forum, it looks like you developers pushed back and Zoom is working on some useful changes.
An Update:
WebSDK might not work as its not stable at the moment. Please check zoom updates form below link.

Thanks
Update:
New update 3.2.2 includes webSDK 1.7.5 – I suggest you to try it out and see if it works for you !! Should work !
Thanks
Hi Deepen
Your plugin is amazing and is helping so many people at this time. Thank you!
It seeems that – whilst you’ve updated the plugin to take advantage of webSDK 1.7.5, the plugin is applying stale version numbers to your JS includes (including the Zoom SDK)
Without clearing the cache or hard-refreshing the JS file, even 3.2.2 is loading ver=1.0.0 which for me is SDK 1.7.2, causing errors when joining via the browser.
Is there a chance your plugin could be updated so that, when your plugin version changes, it forces browsers to fetch the new JS file from your includes instead of the cached version?
Thank you so much
Hi @bencoates
Nice catch. I’ll update it right away. Thanks for the report !!!
Great work Deepen, thank you so much 🙂
It seems to be a good plugin but I’m struggling to get Join via Browser to work. Is it working right now? No matter what I do it gives me “Joining meeting timeout. Meeting is not started” for the participants. I deleted you plugin and installed it again just incase… what else I can do?
I also still don’t understand what’s the difference between Post Meeting and Live Meeting? I’ve read the documentation but it’s too short and I still don’t understand it.Hi @dzoidberg
Check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z2Ii0PnHRQ – Just to 2:06, sorry for the disturbance in the video.

HI there. I have found your plugin to be great in my initial testing. I have watched your video but I have a problem. I do not see the Shortcode function in the tinyMCE editor. I am trying to embed the meetings. Has the plugin not added that when I installed it? I am using WordPress 5.4.2 / Astra Theme.
Thank you
