I suspected the problem was because the site was local.

But it’s actually the same problem, when it’s online:

    photos.google.com refused to connect.

    But why?

It works in an incognito tab when I’m not logged in to Google.

I just released 2.1.0 which allows you to input a video rather than just selecting from the media library.

The problem is with Cross-Site Origin Blocking. The embed URL you posted doesn’t support it.

I recommend downloading the video and hosting it on Amazon S3 and setting the video permissions to read-only. YouTube will also work.

    Here’s the S3 video for testing: https://wp-presenter-pro.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/VID_20171117_201317.mp4

You can also check out this demo below, which includes your video (loaded from S3).

Thanks so much for the quick answer.

Today is special as my WP “thinks” 2.0.9 is newer than 2.1.0:

Anyway it works (I downloaded the newest version manually).

In your example (when added the video as background), there is no sound, but I think that’s by design.

@chzumbrunnen looks like I screwed up the version number.

Just released 2.1.1, which should be available as an update now. The videos no longer loop and are not muted.

You can see the result here: https://mediaron.com/slides/test/
