The Code Embed has stopped working on referenced URL and new embed codes that are created are not working on new pages. Recently updated to WP 4.8.2. I’m not sure if this is related. There are some previous codes working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @johnfugh,

I’ve tried to recreate this but have been unable to. When I view the page link you provided the video is working fine. Can you provide further information on the problem?

@dartiss Thank you, David, for your response. What you see is another method I used to get it back up and running. I’ve recreated the page on a test page.

It seems to reserve the space for the embedding video, but it doesn’t show the video.

FWIW, this is a page where it is working as expected.

The “Value” in this code is can be seen here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jre240vhs0afbfk/troubleshoot2.png?dl=0

Here is a screenshot of the edit post page:

In troubleshooting, I tried different browsers, logging in and logging out, deactivating/activating, uninstall plug/reinstall plug, tried to view it on different computers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey @johnfugh,

So, looking at that test page I can see it’s inserting the following code into the page…

    <div class="ce-video-container"><iframe frameborder="0" width="1310" height="740" src="http://yourstreamlive.com/embed/iframe/replays/1319?event_id=704107&width=1280&height=720" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="auto" allowfullscreen allowtransparency="yes" name="replays" id="replays"></iframe></div>

Is this the code, exactly, as you entered into the custom fields meta box to embed?

This is the code that I entered:

    <iframe frameborder="0" width="1310" height="740" src="http://yourstreamlive.com/embed/iframe/replays/1319?event_id=704107&width=1280&height=720" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="auto" allowfullscreen allowtransparency="yes" name="replays" id="replays"></iframe>

Does it work if you use %CODE3% instead of %CODE3_RES%?

Thank you for your continued help.

I’ve made your suggested changes, and it still has the same unexpected result.

I’ve been trying to think if there’s been any plugin added that may have effected this and there have been no new ones added.

    I greatly appreciate your assistance.

    @johnfugh,

So, if the code embedded into the page is the same as the code you provided (which, in this case, it is) my plugin is working fine as it’s done what it’s meant to do. The only thing that could affect anything is the _res suffix, as that adds some additional CSS. With that switched off then this is a clash between the embedded code you supplied and your site.
