# Embed Flash (again)

 * I have been searching (and searching) about how to embed a Flash movie into a
   PAGE as well as a POST (not sure if its even different)
 * I have tried 3 different approaches so far.
 * SW_Object
    Gigya Kelima (or something)
 * nothing has worked..
 * Kelima one the GUI/editor doesnt even load correctly.. Black BG cant read it..
   even if you get past it.. the embed does NOT work.
 * Gigya does nothing (I read dont need plug-in…couldnt find a flash plug-in anyways)–
   didnt work.
 * same with the 3rd version….attempt.
 * I even tried direct embed ode in a DIV…
 * question:
 * 1.) is it even possibly anymore? I would think so..
    2.) Is there a current or‘
   supported’ plug-in for this?

 * seems just the text shows up..
 * on the others. a FLASH ‘space’ is there.. I right click get flash menu.. but 
   alas.. no flash movie displays.

 * Im sorry. that ‘is’ one I tried (the above name was spelled from memory)
    Kelima
   is supposed to be kimili.
 * upon looking back on my own post/link.. I see I did have the .swf extension..(
   but .html instead on accident)
 * thanks…sorry for the waste of time.
 * however..
 * I do still have a problem with the GUI/editor.. when it ‘loads/displays’ everything
   is black/dark grey.. (the background of the table/panel or whatever)
 * makes it very hard to read with black text..and what fields are supposed to be
   for what.
 * Ay ideas on how to fix that?

 * yeah it seems odd…
 * since its part of the ‘lightbox/thickbox’ (whatever) they are using to display
   it….
 * upon a bit further inspection.. it seems the ‘WHITE’ fill is ‘gone’ (or transparent?)..
   and its all black border is showing through.
 * outside of that.. I believe it is working ‘ok’..
 * I had tried contacting the author before posting here.. (no reply)

 * seems like the ‘inner’ white table isnt centered or long enough to cover the 
   whole ‘window’..
 * anybody got any ideas/thoughts on why ‘my’ install isnt working/looking right?
