• Hello,

Ever since upgrading to 4.1.3 on April 1st, no emails are coming through for new subscriptions. Emails are still working from WordPress itself (new user signups) but the Membership 2 emails are not being sent at all.

I’ve verified that the MX server has received nothing and verified that nothing has been sent. Its very strange that it stops working right from upgrading to 4.1.3.

I am going to downgrade the plugin now in the hopes that it resolves the issue in the short-term, but please update this topic with any further investigations.

    Cheers.

    Hey there @jamesking56,

hope you’re doing good today! 🙂

Could you please go to Membership 2 -> Settings -> General and deactivate the “Use WordPress Cron for sending emails” option?

By doing so, you should be getting all automated emails right on time, as this option is used to “Process communication emails in the background every hour. Good for sites with alot of traffic”! 😉

Let us know, if that made any difference.

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

    Hi!

After downgrading the plugin, it all works again. Something in that newer version has broken the email communication.

At the moment, I’ve set the plugin to not update on my client’s site until there is something in your changelogs that says otherwise.

    Cheers.

    Hey there! 🙂

Did you try my recommendations in my first reply?
If so, didn’t they make any difference?

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

    Hello,

Yeah it didn’t make any difference. Even without config changes, a downgrade seems to resolve the issue.

    Something has broken in 4.1.3.

    Hi @jamesking56,

As you saw in the other report, our developers are working on a patch already and we’re hoping to see the new version with a fix real soon.

    Cheers,
    Predrag
