    Hi there,

    Email notifications (Donation receipt part of Donor and New donation part of Contributor) do not work when donation transactions have been made live or test module. They only work in Send Test Email mode.

    Hi @dan411wp,

    I’m happy to help, here.

    The first thing to check when you are not receiving emails is that the donations are being marked as Complete on the GiveWP side. That’s what triggers the email, so if they aren’t getting marked as Complete, that would be the problem we need to resolve, first.

    If they are getting marked as complete, then it’s likely some WordPress email deliverability issue. Email troubles are often hard to diagnose, so we wrote this article to try and help:

    The short version is that you need to confirm WordPress is sending them, and then figure out why they aren’t being delivered.

    Most of our users who walk through those steps are able to resolve email issues.

    I’d recommend following all the steps there to see if it resolves things. If those steps don’t help, I’m more than happy to hop back in and try to diagnose things with you. Essentially what I would need from you is the results of all the troubleshooting steps from that documentation, and that will pinpoint things.
