Emails Not Sending

None of my automated emails, including confirmation emails for people who’ve signed up to my list, are sending, so I have people who are stuck in the ‘unconfirned’ category.
I’ve checked all the connections regarding the sending service and all is good. I have tested the sign up process and I did not receive a confirmation email in my inbox or junk. I tried to send myself a ‘resend confirmation’ email, but just got an error message. What’s up? Can anybody help please?
