    I published a blog post and the emails to subscribers are not being sent even though when I go to reports it says they have been. I tried to send a test email and I get an error message “could not instantiate mail function”
    I just upgraded today to version 4.4.7 and did not have this problem before this upgrade.
    Can you help?

    We’re sorry that you are experiencing issues with email sending using the latest version.

    Could you let us know the mailer you use? You can find it under Email Sending and please share a screenshot showing the Email Sending screen to better understand the issue. For that, please navigate to Email Subscribers > Settings > Email Sending and share us the screenshot by uploading it to any file sharing server.

    I am using WP Mail. I have not changed any of my settings recently and everything worked before the update. I checked again and I can now send and receive a test email. I received an email to admin saying the campaign had been sent (hours after the post was published) and the CRON URL was triggered successfully but I did not receive the notification email of a new post being published that I normally get when this works. How do I check that the emails were actually sent?

    It appears the emails were never sent so I deleted the report and sent the emails using the broadcast function. Not perfect but the emails have at least gone out now. Will wait for your next update to hopefully fix this bug.
