    Hi,

I’m facing and issue where all my emails submissions sent from my website contact form built with forminator are landing in spam folder.
The sender address is set as noreply@mywebsitename.com but in the email headers, it shows that the message is being sent via gator4214.hostgator.com I suspect this might be the mailbox is flagging it as a spam. Is there a way to solve this.

    Hello @ahmedraja458

Thanks for the information. This clearly seems to be an issue related to the lack of SMTP configuration in the site.

Without proper configuration, the site may don’t know how to send emails, or it may rely on the server that is hosting your site to send emails; hence why the sender shows it’s from Hostgator. It’s recommended you configure your site to use a real, email address to send those emails. In short, the site connects to an email account using the SMTP protocol, and instructs that account to send the email.

The best way to configure the SMTP of your site is using a plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/smtp/

Once you configure the email delivery, Forminator should use that to send emails when someone submits a form.

    Kind regards,
    Jair.
