  • Per the settings on this plug, the “reminders” sent to my customers to write a review come from the email address, which is the web site of the plug in designer! It cannot be changed. It says that “This email address can be modified in the premium version of the plugin.”

    So I have to pay you not to collect my customer base and direct email back to yourself? No thanks.

  • I tried making a review with my own email but didn’t seem to get any “reminders” from the plugin maker (Go Web Solutions) yet. If this is true, then it would really be bad. Can Go Web Solutions comment?

    @marywald, this is not the email address of the plugin designer. This is probably the email address entered at WP Admin -> Settings -> General -> Email Address. This might be the email address used by your web designer, not us, or perhaps you are confusing our plugin with another one?

    If you change that email address, you should see the reviews start coming in from that email. We send emails from whatever is reported by the get_bloginfo(‘admin_email’) setting.

    @ultralux, I’m not sure what you are asking. When you submit a review, the admin email address of your WP blog is notified, not the customer. If your blog / hosting setup can not send out emails using the built-in wp_mail function, you’ll need to contact your hosting company to resolve, as it would be a problem for your whole blog/site, not just this plugin.
