# Emails being sent…NONE opened

 * I have sent 3 different newsletters….none have been opened. In the past I had
   about 25%-33% open rate. Something isn’t right

 * I did not receive the email….so my guess is that it shows them being sent but
   is not sending.

 * Hi, sent by newsletter means the email has been moved to the underlining mailing
   system. If there are problem at that level, it could be dropped.
 * Try to ask your provider if there are problem with the mail system.

 * I checked with the provider. They are saying that everything is good on their
   end. Still no one is receiving the emails.

 * Hi, to test IF the provider is working correctly you need a test script, PHP,
   which invokes the mail function:
 * mail(‘your address’, ‘subject’, ‘example of test message’)
 * your provider can this script in your hosting space and test it. If the email
   is delivered and since WP uses internally this kind of function call, it means
   something in WP is not working. It could be and SMTP plugin installed, or a plugin
   which change the default WP behavior. But since before everything was working
   I suspect it’s a provider problem.
 * Are you able to create such script to test the default PHP mailing? Have you 
   a friend able to do it?
 * You can even try a password recovery from your login page, just to see if that
   email is delivered.
 * Did you changed the sender address in Newsletter main settings? The sender address
   could be filtered by your provider, usually a good choice is to use an address
   in your domain.

 * I ran the test, and the email was delivered without any problems. But the other
   emails did not. I include myself on the mailing list, so I know that the mass
   emails were not delivered.

 * Hi, that means the plugin is correctly moving the email to the delivery service
   of your provider. Hence there are chances that your provider has a filter.
 * Try to create an empty newsletter with just few words, no links, no images, disable
   tracking o that newsletter and test it. If it is delivered and a regular newsletter
   with links and images is not, the provider is filtering.

    ps: I know, providers always say they’re not filtering, but I met this
   situation so many times I know it could happen

 * If I send out an email to my test subscribers, they are not receiving it. I tried
   an email with just text as you mentioned….still nothing. I have been with my 
   host provider tech support for 45 minutes. They still claim it is the plugin.
   I’m kind of at a loss at this point. 🙁

   so we can setup a debug session. If test emails are going out from status panel,
   newsletters must go out.
