 * Hello,
 * after a User register on my page WordPress sent the Standard Emails. Not the
   Emails that I have created in your Plugin. Any Idea what I can do?
    When the
   User register here [https://www.dxf-downloads.de/wp-login.php?action=register](https://www.dxf-downloads.de/wp-login.php?action=register)
   then comes the Standard Mails from WordPress. When I make a site with your Shortcode
   then it works. But I want it over this adress [https://www.dxf-downloads.de/wp-login.php?action=register](https://www.dxf-downloads.de/wp-login.php?action=register)
 * Can anybody help me please?
 * thanks

 * have you set your short-code login page in wpm settings?
 * > Pages
   > Login Page: Specify a login page (optional) Register Page: For creating
   > a register link in the login form User Profile Page: For creating a forgot

 * Thank you for your answer.
 * Yes I did it.
    For example: Register Page: [https://www.dxf-downloads.de/wp-login.php?action=register](https://www.dxf-downloads.de/wp-login.php?action=register)

 * no, u have directly sepecified the wplogin page, not the wpm’s, so of course
   the wpm emails are not sent.
 * u need to _create_ a page, z.b. [https://www.dxf-downloads.de/register](https://www.dxf-downloads.de/register)
   that contains the [wpm_register] shortcode, then specify _that_ page as the Register
   Page in the wpm settings; likewise with the login/profile shortcodes.
 * hth;-)

 * Is it useful to make a 301 redirect to the register page?

 * The WP-Members emails are sent when the WP-Members registration form is used;
   but not when other registrations are used. That is intentional as I do not want
   the plugin to step into another process. If it did, the obvious reverse of this
   current question would arise, “Why do the WP-Members emails go out when I’m not
   using the WP-Members form?”
 * In cases where it is desired, the [Advanced Options extension](https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/extensions/advanced-options/)
   does have a setting that will override the WP new user “welcome” email with the
   WP-Members email.
 * As for setting up a 301 redirect, you could do that, but you could also just
   set the WP-Member register page setting to use a custom URL and set that to your
   WP register page (if that’s what you wanted). Then just choose to not display
   the register form in the WP-Members settings. Any WP-Members register links would
   point to the page you set for the registration page.
