Emailling customers

I am unable to configure emails to customers on my site. This is the email I use : https://login.microsoftonline.com/#

When click on a customer’s email I get sent to Google chrome and can’t change this.

I didn’t set up the site and happily admit to having little understanding of it; however I am not getting much help from the guy that set it up so any help would be gratefully appreciated- especially if you can keep it very simple!
