• I downloaded this plugin, made a form and did a test run on it tonight. I never received a confirmation email, even though I have one set up in the form. I also never received the data entered in the form to the email address I entered. How is such a major component of this plugin not working? Is there something I’m missing? Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks in advance!

    Plugin version 2.8.1 and WP 4.0
    Before i have update to 4.0 everything was fine. And e-mail was sent. In form details was: Emailed To: email@email.com, right now there isn’t any email address just: Emailed To:

    I was able to fix the problem by downloading a plugin called WP Mail SMTP (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/). I just installed it and activated it, then tried filling out the form again as a test and it worked! I have no idea how that fixed the problem but it did. Maybe you should try that? Good luck!

    I am a sub-admin and I’ve given a help by my super admin to customise the Email setting where I can change SMTp setting. I did and successfully send test email.
    However, when I tried to send using visual form to gmail and other domain, nothing sent. I am using WP 3.5.1
    Is something wrong or another step needed to do?

    me too, same problem… the first time I tested the form, last week, there was no problem. But after the first tests, I didn’t receive any confirmation emails anymore.

    I changed the email address form gmail to the website’s… only one came through and then nothing again.

    I installed the WP mail SMTP plugin, but the problem is still there… is there anything I should change within the SMTP settings? Here it gets more complex for me…

    i have a similar problem but restricted to distribution groups only. form sent to singular users works fine but no way to groups.
    anyone with the same issue?

    My problem solved.
    It appears that SMTP server from Office 365 is not responding when sending an enquiry from this form. Change to my Google Apps SMTP and it worked perfectly

    I also had the same issue & followed sjwormann’s lead & downloaded the WP Mail SMTP Plugin. Fixed it in a jiffy!

    Kyron, make sure you add your email address where you want the forms to go & that the box labeled “Send all WordPress emails via SMTP” is checked. That’s all I had to do anyway!
