[resolved] email with confirmation of user registration does not send after approval (4 posts)

    I implemented and configured the wp-members plugin to let a site-admin approve a user registration first before access to the blocked content is permitted. Allmost everything seems to work correctly, only the message to the new user with the confirmation of its registration after a site-admin has activated the new user account, is never send.
    Step 1: user fills in the form and clicks the register button.
    Step 2: User recieves an e-mail with a message to wait for approval.
    Step 3: Site-admin recieves e-mail with new user details.
    Step 4: Site-admin follows the activation link, checks and checks the activate checkbox and saves the information.
    Step 5: The user should recieve an e-mail with the confirmation of the registration, but this does not happen at the moment.
    WP_mail seems to work with-out any problems. In the first steps it sends messages and an other plugin is using the samen function without problems. When the new user is activaed and uses the forgot my password feature, the plugin sends an e-mail with a new password.
    Anybody any suggestions what could causes this problem and how to fix it? Thanks in advance

    The only thing whats different; when adding a new user, i have the option to send the password. That option is missing in the screen of wp-members

    I would suggest setting up a filter to make sure that the emails have "From:" headers (using a legitimate email address):

    Thanks for your suggestion. I am testing it now, but i gues the problem has to be something with the plugin wordfence and the amounth of available memory in the system. I upgraded it to 1gb and now it seems to work normally.
