  • Hello,

    I have created a WordPress site for a client.
    She wants a form contact, but her email address provider blocks the emails coming from WordPress.
    That is why I want to use SendGrid to send emails as a SMTP gateway.
    I have created an account on and created an API key, with permissions “full access”.
    I have installed Swift Mailer and SendGrid plugin on my site.
    But when I try to test my SendGrid settings with the test email, I get the error “Email wasn’t sent”.
    Why ?

    After creating the API key and setting it in the settings page do you get the message “Options updated successfully”?

    After selecting “SMTP” as a send method on the settings page and clicking on “Update options”, do you get the same message?

    Have you tried selecting a different port than the default one for SMTP sending?
