 * I am using the free version. I have been searching for a while and am unable 
   to find that setting. Would you please tell us where specifically to look for
   that setting?

 * Click User Role on left, click edit under Member, just below middle of the page

 * Hi,
 * You need to edit the user role and then go to the registration section on the
   edit user role page. This is where you can change the registration option.
