Email to all buddypress Group members when Group admin create a new event (6 posts)

    Anyone has any suggestion for me to do the following:
    When the Buddypress group Admins/Mods create a new event in the group, it would automatically send Email Notifications about the new event to all the group members.
    Any plugin or instruction would be great!! =]

    You could hook into em_event_save to detect when an event is created.

    Then you'd just need to grab the group members info from BuddyPress. I'm not familiar enough with BuddyPress to know how you would go about that, but I'm sure there's how-tos available on that.

    We are working on some email notification features (it'd be a pro feature though - more related to contacting those who booked), however this specific functionality won't get added on this round.

    whilst not automatic, you can do this with the following plugin - http://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/
