Email tagging

Hi there, I’m currently using this plugin on a wordpress membership site.

I’m looking for the ability to pass the WordPress email address of each viewer to Wistia if the user is logged in to WordPress. Any chance of getting this functionality added to the plugin?

Wistia support suggested these methods:

“you could accomplish this with some custom programming – it’s not formally supported, but you could use our ‘tagging viewers by email’ feature (http://wistia.com/doc/identity-tagging#tagging_viewers_by_email) and insert WordPress usernames in-place of what would normally be an email. The WordPress usernames should then show up on your heatmaps. From a technical standpoint, you can do this either through passing a query parameter (http://wistia.com/doc/player-id-tag#url_query_string_approach) or setting the trackEmail variable (http://wistia.com/doc/player-id-tag#function_with_trackemail_embed_option) in the Wistia embed javascript code. “

I would like to do that so it’s easier to monitor for account access being shared to multiple people.

Any chance of getting this functionality added? Happy to pay for dev.
