# Email Subscriptions for Custom Posts

 * I’m using the Panel theme for a webcomic site and of course Jetpack’s email subscription
   functionality doesn’t work with the custom post type used for comics. (Same issue
   as has been reported before.)
 * I understand that this is complicated and all, given the potential variety in
   Custom Posts. And I know folks are looking into it. But I do have a suggestion:
   maybe an initial version could just be more of a notification service (i.e., “
   there’s a new post up, here’s the title, click here to view it”) and not so much
   of an “email the entire post” thing? It seems like that would mitigate some of
   the problems around potential differences in custom post types…
