Email Subscription deactivated but still emailing users
I am using Jetpack with WP 3.6.1 on http://glowstars.net.
A few weeks ago I was hacked and didn’t manage to get my back-ups sorted properly. Prior to this, I was running Jetpack with the email subscriptions activated.
In the past few weeks I’ve manually been restoring the content to my site but have deactivated the email subscriptions. Despite this, people who have previously subscribed have been receiving emails. Considering I’ve added over 100 past-dated posts today, I have a number of very unhappy subscribers.
How can I completely turn this feature off until I am ready to allow email notifications through again?
