Email Subscribers not sending notifications

    I am trying to use Email Subscribers to build a list and send notifications to subscribers when I post new content.

    I am getting subscribers but welcome emails and notifications are not being sent.

    I have tried this using shortcode and widge…..same result.

    I know I must have missed something in configuration but I am not sure what.

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Left menu.

    Posts
    Media
    Links
    Pages
    Email Subscribers
    Appearance
    etc.

    Rollover / click on Email Subscribers.
    You get:
    Dashboard
    Audience
    Forms
    Campaigns
    Workflows
    Reports
    Settings
    Help & Info

    Then roll over Reports
    Roll over the first one (or one you want to check)
    View / Delete / Preview
    Click on View

    My dashboard looks different. It’s prolly cause I use Jetpack for subscriptions, not the
    “email subscribers and newsletters”…mine looks like this:

    post
    media
    pages
    comment
    feedback
    appearance
    plugins…

    Does anyone know if there is an alternative to this plugin? I paid for the pro service and they couldn’t fix it and just didn’t do anything. I really need a plugin that will do this.

    I found it a bit harder than I would like to set up but it works beautifully. What is the issue? A clash with another plugin? Or the size of your subscriber base? I am using the WordPress native chron job and it is fine. I have less than 50 subscribers.

    I couldn’t see another plugin that does just what I wanted – emailed subscribers to alert them to new posts on the website. Not one that is being updated.

    We have 6000 or so subscribers. The emails just queue and do not send. It stopped working properly in feb.

    I am using Email subscribers. Is there any standard procedure to check after email from WP not received. I tested email subscribers – settings – email sending, but no email received on my email account.
