    Submissions via the form are not working. No email is sent to the sender for opt in. No-one is added to the list. The plugin says its connected.

    I tried turning on debug but debug says it can’t write to the path and when I look for the path the folder and file its trying to write to do not exist.

    I tried with and without wp-cron.

    I don’t know if there is a setting in the plugin that I’m missing or something in the account settings.

    Are you or someone else who’s an admin receiving their email notification of a signup?

    By chance do you have WP-SpamShield installed?

    Just some preliminary questions to get things rolling.

    I’m the web designer but not the admin of the Constant Contact. Yes it did have SpamShield installed. I just tested and now that I have it deactivated the form went thru.

    This site was started some time ago and I haven’t been using that one lately. I’ve been using Anti-Spam Bee. Is that any friendlier or do I just need to leave off anti spam plugins?

    Yes, we have encountered some conflicts with WP-SpamShield but we also hopefully have a workaround committed to our internal code tracker that will help everyone who may be using it.

    That said, since you’ve already been considering moving away from it, and it sounds like things are working again without it active, that’s no longer a large concern here.

    Thus far, most of our spam prevention attempts have been internal and self rolled out, with the exception of utilizing Google reCAPTCHA and integration with Akismet. At this time, we’re not aware of conflicts with any other spam-prevention plugins. I’m going to say go ahead and proceed with Anti-Spam Bee, and if you start encountering issues again with it, let us know so we can investigate and try to build in compatibility.

    Glad to hear that as a whole contacts are being added to your list like expected.
